It was the beginning of a new chapter on the water. We had spent a number of years on The Bay in the 80’s, but “got out” due to the logistics involved with a new home and traveling for work. Yes, we regretted getting out (and my wife rightfully blamed me), but now, we’re “back in” (yippee!). Being back in comes complete with a new to us boat and new to us friends… oh, and some not so new to us friends that we missed, like Ole Barney. It was time to re-learn those old boat piloting skills (just like riding a bike eh) and the shifting shoals of beautiful Barnegat Bay.
